Roster for Team development camp announced

The Detroit Red Wings, during the week of the 10th and the 15th of July, will be operating the annual prospective development camp in Traverse City. Those who may wish to attend are able to purchase tickets at a cost of $5 for each of the 5 days of the event. The first day however will allow free entry to anyone wishing to come out and observe the potential next star of the Detroit Hockey Club.

Currently there will be twenty-one players in attendance for the camp. Additional prospective players will be added to the roster after the NHL draft. Some major hopefuls will be in attendance like the OHL’s Ryan Sproul, the QMJH’s Xavier Ouellet, WCHA’s Nick Jensen and the Memorial Cup champion Martin Frk, who hails from Halifax.

Those who chose to attend this year’s development event will have the opportunity to meet Darren Helm, the 2008 Stanley Cup Champion who will be on hand to prepare for the next full NHL season. This is a great way to become introduced to the future stars of the NHL.
