YEAR ROUND “SUPPLEMENTAL TEAM & CLUB COACHING” 

Despite the specialized nature of the goaltending position, goaltenders still are team players. Teams and clubs have realized that it is in their interest to make sure that attention is given to any team’s goalie(s). Red Line Hockey – Goaltending has been fostering the development of goaltenders alongside their teammates since 2006. 

When RLH is brought on as a “supplemental goaltender coach”, attention is given to goaltender skill building as in private lesson, but feedback and analysis in team sessions focuses more on the goaltender’s mental stamina, focus and body language.   

Additionally, RLH works with coaches to enhance goaltenders ability to engage in team play.  Goaltenders learn that they are much more than just puck stoppers, and that skater-goaltender communication / coordination, handling odd-man rush scenarios, and the ability to work with teammates on special teams situations is the difference between an excellent goaler and an average goaltender.

RLH GOALTENDING SUMMER CAMP 2011

Thanks to all who participated in the 2010 RLH Summer Camp. Special thanks to the following shooters and coaches: Thanks to coaches TJ Cuneo (Washington Post All-Met 2008, Worcester State - NCAA) and Katharyn Dembowski (Castleton State – NCAA) for leading demonstrations and exercises. Thanks also to the top notch shooters! The quality and quantity was great! Hockey).

RLH PRE-SEASON, MID-YEAR AND PRE-TRYOUT MINICAMPS

RLH holds pre-season "MiniCamps" each September, a Winter Break Goalie Event and a Pre-Tryout Training Series each spring prior to tryouts.

RLH ONGOING PRIVATE AND SMALL GROUP INSTRUCTION, TRAINING & ANALYSIS

RLH runs private 1 on 1 on-ice goaltender instruction, training and analysis sessions at Cabin John Ice Rink in Rockville, MD.  RLH also runs training on synthetic ice throughout the hockey season. ***RLH GOALTENDING RESERVATION, ACCEPTANCE, PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICIES***

Red Line Hockey – Goaltending can only make small and custom goaltender instruction, training and analysis happen with the help of those participating. The following are GENERAL POLICIES that apply to RLH-GOALTENDING PROGRAMS EXCLUDING SUMMER CAMPS AND MINICAMPS which have different cancellation policies.

REGISTRATIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL LESSONS & SMALL GROUP SESSIONS

1.  Students for all programs are accepted on a first registered (email, phone or flyer) basis.  

2.  Where space is limited in a given session or program, players are only GUARANTEED a space on a first paid basis. Parents/Guardians will be notified if a space is in jeopardy of being lost due to a later payment after registration. Player will have the space reserved until notified otherwise.

3. Payments can be made via paypal and/or check or money order.  If paying by check, payments should be made payable to Red Line Hockey LLC. and mailed to:

4. Players that have reserved a space in a session via phone, email or mail and have been accepted by RLH for a given session must have paid prior to a session. Late fees are $5.00 per day every day after attended session.

5. If a player/parent/guardian has registered for a session or program (vie email, phone or mail) and cancels within 1 week of the given session or program, the parent/guardian will be billed for the cost of the given session. (Note late fees).

6. Players that have paid for a program or session WILL NOT receive a refund for the cost of the session or program if cancellation is not made within 1 week of the given session or program.

7. A charge of $15.00 will be added for returned checks due to insufficient funds. This fee will cover the bank processing fee plus our own administrative fee.

8. If paying via Paypal, please add a 5% convenience fee and pay to red-line-hockey@hotmail.com

9. Discounts vary by Program. Be sure to check with Program Flyer for details. 

10.  Red Line Hockey reserves the right to NOT accept an applicant based on past behavior or attendance / payment record.

11.  Red Line Hockey reserves the right to withhold all tuition monies in the event that a child is required to leave the camp for significant behavioral or disciplinary reasons. Players and parent/guardian will have verbal notice of need to change behavior before such measures are taken.  

12. Goalies must provide their HECC approved equipment and must fit properly and will not be allowed on ice if not properly equipped without refund.

13. Goalies must have signed waiver for given programs/sessions or will not be admitted into session without refund.

EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES FOR CANCELLATION: Include death in the family, hockey related injury and illness. In such cases, player or guardian should notify Red Line Hockey that attendance will not be possible. Credit will be granted to be used toward future RLH Goaltending Sessions.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift certificates are good for specific dollar amounts and can be used toward any RLH programming and merchandise. Gift Certificates are good for 1 year from date of issue and the reservation and cancellation policies apply to Gift Certificate users.
